St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland Fundraising Terms and Conditions
These Fundraising Terms and Conditions outline the requirements of a ‘registered fundraiser’ connected with St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland (SVDPQ). They are not a substitute for your own legal advice and do not provide any legal cover to your event.
By registering for a SVDPQ campaign (the “fundraising activity”), as a registered fundraiser you agree to the Fundraising Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions published on the fundraising website. Note these Fundraising Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time, with any amended Fundraising Terms and Conditions to be reposted on the Community Fundraising website. Failure to conduct a fundraising activity in accordance with the Fundraising Terms and Conditions may result in your fundraising activity being de-registered by SVDPQ.
Event information
- If your activity is approved, SVDPQ will issue you with a “Letter of Authority”, giving you approval to fundraise via email
- Within three to five business days an employee from SVDPQ will contact you in regard to your fundraising activity.
- Once registered and approved, any fundraising activity shall be conducted in your name and is your sole responsibility as the ‘Registered Fundraiser.

Although any prior convictions won’t automatically prevent You from being able to organise an activity for us, they will be taken into account where relevant, for the purposes of accessing the suitability of the Event or Collection and yourself as the Registered Fundraiser. Failure to notify us of any previous criminal convictions may result in further investigation towards yourself and your fundraising activity or refusal for authority to fundraise on SVDPQ behalf.
- Organisations including community groups and schools registered to fundraise for SVDPQ are responsible for the safety and welfare of all children under the age of 18 years who are fundraising with that school or community group on behalf of SVDPQ.
